Microsoft has announced that they fixed an error in TPM 2.0. I understand that Microsoft needs to move forward, but they are screwing millions of customers that can't afford to shell out money for a new computer. I have no problem with them doing a feature freeze and forcing everyone to upgrade to the final version, but saying they will no longer do security fixes is BS. You are essentially saying screw you if you do not want to pay to play. The obvious is to give Microsoft the middle finger and go to one of the many great Linux versions where you no longer need to use the command line or write your own scripts. These new versions wotk just like windows where everything is on menu's. Every program that I used on Windows either had a Linux version or very compatible replacements. The various word processing programs are all compatible with Windows formats. Their are thousands of these programs, 99% free.
