Two people were injured after a car crash at an Upstate restaurant that gave new meaning to the term drive-thru. The Belton Fire Department responded around 11PM Sunday night to a reported crash near Anderson Street.

When they arrived they found that a car had crashed into the Subway restaurant there. Two people were injured and were transported to the hospital, one of them was airlifted. The crash caused structural damage to the building and fire crews began working to keep the building from collapsing. Agencies from Greenville City and County also responded to assist in the shoring up and securing the building. Details on what led to the crash have not been released, as of this time. There's been no update on the condition of the victims.
