Jennifer Lopez Files for Divorce from Ben Affleck

After all of the rumors, fights, scowls, and dramatics, it's been confirmed by various media reports, including TMZ and the Daily Mail in the UK, that Jennifer Lopez has filed for divorce from her estranged husband Ben Affleck.

According to TMZ, Lopez filed for divorce on Tuesday at the L.A. County Superior Court. In an interesting twist, she filed for divorce by herself and didn't have her lawyer do it or have him with her when she did it. Even though Lopez has recently been seen wearing a wedding ring, she listed the date of separation as April 26, 2024.

This divorce should not be a problem or a battle due to the fact that it's obvious Ben Affleck has moved on. Last month, it was reported that Affleck bought a new home in Los Angeles for $20 million. Also, there was no prenuptial agreement signed beforehand, probably due to each other's wealth.

From the beginning of their marriage, there seemed to be issues as often as Ben Aflleck seemed unhappy and aloof in public, with even a few instances being caught on camera showing Lopez being upset with him for doing something. Lopez has often said that Affleck was the love of her life and wanted to work things out. Affleck squashed any rumor that was happening, as he has been spending a lot of time with his ex-wife Jennifer Garner and his kids.

The 55-year-old Lopez has been engaged seven times, and this will be her fourth divorce. The 52-year-old Ben Affleck was married to Garner before their divorce in 2018.
