Taylor Swift always has something up her sleeve.

Swifties have been waiting with bated breath for any sign of Reputation (Taylor’s Version,) one of two re-recordings the pop star has yet to release. The buzz crescendoed during Saturday’s (Aug. 17) London show after a fan favorite from the 2017 album made its “Eras” Tour debut. And after a major announcement Tuesday (Aug. 20,) fans… still have no idea when Reputation is coming. But the “Bad Blood” singer did unveil a music video for her latest single.

Taylor Swift Released Second ‘TTPD’ Music Video

During Tuesday’s (Aug. 20) show at London’s Wembley Stadium, Taylor Swift wrapped her 2022 hit “Karma” and joined her backup dancers for a massive group hug.

As the lights brightened, fans were stunned to see behind-the-scenes footage from Swift’s groundbreaking “Eras” Tour playing in the stadium. That footage makes up the music video for “I Can Do It With a Broken Heart,” the second single off April’s The Tortured Poets Department.

Naturally, emotions were high on the internet. “IM CRYING IT’S PERFECT OMG,” one ecstatic Swiftie wrote on X/Twitter.

The glittering up-tempo number is about Swift navigating the beginning of the “Eras” tour while still processing her split from longtime love Joe Alwyn: Breaking down, I hit the floor / All the pieces of me shattered as the crowd was chanting, “More.”

The standout track sees the “Anti-Hero” singer alternating between heartbreak and swagger: Try and come for my job, she says at the end. You can practically hear the smirk in her voice.

    Again, What About ‘Rep (TV?)

Any new material from Taylor Swift is good news. Still, it wasn’t quite the bombshell many Swifties were hoping for. “no rep tv announcement ????” one fan posted on X/Twitter.

In Swifties’ defense, the 14-time GRAMMY winner has seemingly been dropping Easter eggs that pointed to her next re-recording. The reddest herring was Swift’s Aug. 17 performance of “I Did Something Bad.” Until then, the blistering electro-pop number was the only Reputation track she had left to perform at the “Eras” tour. The most plugged-in Swifties were convinced its debut would herald the long-anticipated announcement.

Taylor, we could wait patiently. But we really wish you would drop Reputation (Taylor’s Version) now.
