Authorities in New Jersey are searching for a woman who climbed into a tiger enclosure at the Cohanzick Zoo in Bridgeton. The Bridgeton Police Department shared a video of the woman jumping over a short wooden wall and approaching a second wire fence inside the enclosure, where a pair of Bengal tigers, Rishi and Mahesha, live .

As she nears the fence, one of the tigers approaches the woman. She then sticks her hand through the wire fence, causing the tiger to snap at her fingers. The woman managed to pull her hand away and avoid being bitten. She then starts to walk away as the tiger walks back and forth while watching the woman leave.

By the time the police arrived, the woman had left the zoo.

The police are asking the public for any information about the woman , noting it is a violation of city ordinances to climb over any zoo fence.

"We are asking if anyone recognizes the female in the video/photo. Please contact Ptlm. Cusano at 856-451-0033 ext. 0. Anonymous tips can also be sent by going to BPD.TIPS with any phone/tablet/computer," the department wrote on Facebook .
