    There is not shortage of affordable housing there is shortage of fixing them up and putting them to use in some of poorer areas.

    Yeah, I bet they’re charging 2000 a month to live in them. Ppl on fixed incomes can’t pay that. And if the owners are private owners, they can raise the rent as much & as often as they want. Just ask the seniors behind Meijer’s in Eden Park. A 2-bdrm will run ya 1960 a month!
