We know all about Brock Vandagriff, Barion Brown, Eli Cox, Dane Key, Marques Cox, Jager Burton, and Josh Kattus, among others as veterans on the offense. With multiple years under their belt, we know by now what they will bring to the table. But, who are the players who are flying under the radar in practice and have really impressed?

"I think we've talked about Fred Farrier," Offensive Coordinator Bush Hamdan told media on Tuesday. "So much of it is, as you guys know, there's so many distraction these days. There's NIL, there's the 'Am I the starter?,' ...you still kind of got a couple of old school throwback guys, whether it's by choice or not, who just come to work everyday and get that done. I'd say he's one of those guys." Hamdan didn't stop there putting some offensive players in the spotlight. "I really feel both of the young backs, whether it's (Jamarion) Wilcox or (Jason) Patterson, have taken that approach," Hamdan said. "We never know when their times gonna be, but are they gonna be ready for it, so those are some guys."

Hamdan even raved about freshman tight end Willie Rodriguez, saying he's one of the more impressive ones that they've had. "I think Willie Rodriguez, the young tight end, is as impressive of a tight end as we've had. So he's a guy that's out there playing hard. He's got the right mentality. Certainly a guy like Dylan Ray, who maybe on the offensive line isn't always being talked about, but if we need him at the guard position, at the tackle position, he's ready to step in," Hamdan continued.

"That's kind of the nucleus of the team," Hamdan said. Those are the guys that are super impressive, who on the front end of it might not get all of the accolades or might not have all the excitement, but just put their head down and go to work every day, and look what happened. Their number's called they're up." That's a good trait to have as you get closer to the season.
