More than 100 people turned out for the Denver Housing Authority (DHA) Housing Provider Symposium on August 20, 2024 to discuss existing barriers, benefits and opportunities within the Housing Choice Voucher program.

“Our recent symposium was a powerful gathering of industry leaders and housing providers, sparking important conversations and collaborative efforts,” DHA CEO Joaquín Cintrón Vega said. “Together, we are paving the way for more opportunities and support for those in need in the Denver Metro area.”

The event, held at the PPA Events Center in Denver, was free to attend and included panel discussions such as: Demystifying HCV Admissions - A Road Map from Lottery to Voucher Issuance; Housing Navigation - Helping Housing Providers Locate Tenants; Supportive Services - Leveraging the Housing Choice Voucher Program to Ensure Participant Success and Strengthening Community - The Housing Provider Experience.
