Two months ago, Ricochet was moved to the alumni section of WWE’s website, and shortly afterward, it was confirmed that his contract had expired. Therefore, most fans considered it to be just a matter of time before he was All Elite. And now, ahead of the promotion’s biggest show of the year, All In, Fightful Select has reported the former WWE star has signed a multi-year deal and is scheduled for the pay-per-view.

“Fightful did confirm that Ricochet is planned for upcoming AEW shows, and has a multi-year agreement with the company. Several familiar with the situation claimed that Ricochet is traveling to London for AEW All In, and was planned for the show.”

35-year-old Ricochet, real name Trevor Mann, broke into the business in 2003 and, after building up his name for a decade, would join New Japan, where he memorably wrestled fellow high-flyer Will Ospreay in matches that put both men on the map. Yet while it looked like his subsequent move to WWE would see Ricochet become a worldwide superstar, he was subject to very mixed booking, with a 90-second defeat to Brock Lesnar at Super ShowDown in 2020 likely his career low point.
