About time! I live near and have kept close to this projects timeline. Close to 10 months over projected date. Different #s on how much more than the initial bid, but between 4-6 million is the consensus. It's common place for contractors to drag the job out longer when it's guaranteed cash from the city. Of course, it affects taxes that we pay, but no one supervises overage time or money on projects like this. Oh yes, there are overseers, but all they do is go thru the motions and pass on excuses. It's ridiculous. Nothing done about it, and for years has become the norm...... Just sayin'.
