Well, when Hit & Run Drivers only consequences is 4 months in jail… Yeah! That part! Seriously tho There seems to be a lot of pedestrians run down in Roanoke. Why not Highlight these intersections & crosswalks like that Bright Green like @ VV Mall? And yes there is a Drastic need for more street lights and upkeep and maintenance on the ones already in place. I had light issue that I complained about for over 3 years… bulbs were never changed, The city said call AEP then AEP said the “ City” needed to put in request! Wowww! Never happened. Honestly with the amount of shootings & Night Prowlers, the city really needs to Light up all these “ Hot” spots! Make a plan & charge xtra 5-20 on tax. City needs more lights & Cameras! It seems to work in UK.
