The Kansas City Chiefs have completed their preseason schedule after the 34-21 loss to the Chicago Bears at Arrowhead Stadium.

Now comes the dirty part of the NFL - roster cuts .

But after that, emotions will increase as the Chiefs welcome the Baltimore Ravens to Arrowhead to kick off the 2024 NFL season.

And head coach Andy Reid says his team is already looking forward to facing John Harbaugh's Ravens.

“We look forward to the Ravens game coming up here in a couple weeks," Reid said . "We know this place [Arrowhead] will be geared up and ready to go. I know our veteran players and some of those young guys, once they heal up from this, they'll be they'll be ready to go, too.”

With the Chiefs aiming for a historic three-peat in 2024, Reid's team can get the season off to a perfect start and gain huge ground in the AFC.

Kansas City faces the Ravens and then the Cincinnati Bengals in the first two weeks and has a chance to own the tie-breaker over two teams considered serious threats to the AFC crown.

While the Chiefs didn't win a game in preseason, the entire roster got some much-needed work in preparation for Week 1, and several players made a great impression on the coaching staff.

Now, the Chiefs will trim their roster from 90 to 53, which will see some players' NFL dreams come to a screeching halt while others will live out their dreams.

With a great test out of the gate against a stout Ravens team looking for revenge after the Chiefs ended their season last year.
