College Gameday Hosts Show Oregon Serious Love in Week 0

On the first day of the 2024 college football season, hosts of the College Gameday pregame show made sure to keep the Oregon hype train rolling.

Kirk Herbstreit, Desmond Howard, Nick Saban and Pat McAfee each included the Ducks in their predicted 12-team playoff brackets, while Herbstreit and Howard picked Oregon to win the national championship over Georgia.

Meanwhile, Saban had the Ducks losing to Georgia in the national championship game.

On Herbstreit's predicted bracket, Oregon was listed as the No. 5 seed, while Saban and McAfee had the Ducks ranked sixth. On Howard's bracket, Oregon was No. 1.

Of the five national championship picks made on Saturday, the Ducks collected two, tied with Georgia for the most of any school.

Oregon will look to take its first step in making these predictions come to fruition when it takes the field against Idaho next Saturday, August 31. Kickoff is set for 4:30 p.m.
