The Las Vegas Raiders played their final preseason game on Friday night, and one of the standout performers was wide receiver Tyreik McAllister. In his first year with the Raiders, McAllister finished the game with two catches for 56 yards and a touchdown. He also had an 81-yard punt return for a touchdown.

After the game, McAllister was asked if he believes he belongs on an NFL roster, and he was confident in his response.

"I believe I do," McAllister said. "It's not up to me to make that decision, but I put the hard work in. I've had a lot of hard times. Coming from being on the practice squad and having to go the CFL, I believe I've got the skills to play at this level."

McAllister played college football at DII Charleston, finishing with 2,561 rushing yards and 26 touchdowns and 113 catches for 1,047 yards and four touchdowns.

After going undrafted in the 2022 NFL Draft, McAllister spent some time on the Denver Broncos' preseason squad before signing with the Hamilton Tiger-Cats of the Canadian Football League (CFL). Last season, he was the CFL leader in kick return average and all-purpose yards.

The Raiders must cut their roster to 53 players by 1 PM PST on Tuesday, and McAllister will hope he has done enough to earn one of those coveted spots.
