Top women leaders to headline PINK’s 20th Anniversary event

Some of the nation’s most influential women business leaders will convene at the Woodruff Arts Center on Oct. 22, for a landmark event celebrating the 20th anniversary of PINK, also known as Little PINK Book . The event, titled “The Art of Success | Then Vs. Now,” will highlight the progress and ongoing challenges for women in the workplace since the magazine’s inception.

PINK was launched in 2004 as the first national magazine dedicated to career women, filling a significant gap in media representation. “When we launched in 2004, few women held top jobs,” said Cynthia Good, PINK’s Founder and CEO. “A lot has changed. We’ve come a long way, but with women still holding only 10.6% of Fortune 500 CEO positions as of last year, there’s still much work to be done.”

This year’s event features a powerhouse lineup of speakers from top companies. Among them are Molly Battin, Chief Marketing Officer at The Home Depot; Monica Howard Douglas, Executive Vice President and Global General Counsel at The Coca-Cola Company; and Joanne Wright, IBM’s SVP of Transformation and Operations. They will be joined by leaders from Delta Air Lines, Cox Enterprises, Mercedes-Benz USA, Inspire Brands, Southern Company, the Atlanta Hawks, State Farm Arena, and Cisco.

The half-day event will feature panel discussions reflecting on the evolution of women’s roles in business and exploring strategies for future success. The event will also be live-streamed.

This year’s event marks a significant expansion for PINK. “For the first time in our 20 years, we are offering two speaker panels during this event,” Good said. The panels aim to provide attendees with actionable strategies to advance their careers and maintain authenticity in their professional lives.

“This is an opportunity for ambitious women and male advocates to build key connections and learn how to skyrocket their careers,” said Good.
