General Hospital Spoilers: Anna Warns Jason About Sonny World, Jason Stays Loyal

General Hospital (GH) reveals that Anna Devane recently urged Jason Morgan to break away from Sonny Corinthos's world and reconsider his future. Anna believes Jason has been given a second chance at life and should use it to pursue a safer, more legitimate path. She feels that Jason would be much happier focusing on his sons, Danny and Jake Webber, and living a life free from the constant danger of mob life.

Anna’s Concerns and Jason’s Response

It was recently suggested by Anna that Jason leave the realm of Sonny. Anna believes Jason to seek a different destiny and make the most of his second chance. Jason would be much happier going legal and concentrating on his boys from where Anna is standing. Jason is being put in danger by Sonny, but Anna believes that when she finally takes him out, he won't be standing next to him.

Is Anna advising Jason wisely to avoid the chaos caused by the mob? Now that they are back on good terms, Jason has naturally returned to following Sonny's instructions, but this doesn't have to be the case. Yes, Jason could focus on Danny, Jak, and leading a much less risky life if he were to break free as Anna recommends.

But that's just not Jason at all! Jason appears happy to stick with Sonny and his loved ones, having accepted this life a long time ago. Jason isn't going to desert Sonny, even though he will still support Jake and Danny in his own unique manner. It's unlikely that Sonny and Jason will blow it up all over again because the GH writers were able to resolve their relationship at last.

Jason’s Loyalty vs. Anna’s Warnings

Jason essentially accused Anna of being a hypocrite because she had taken actions that compromised her own morality, such as alerting Valentin so he could go. Given that Anna isn't exactly a nice, respectable police commissioner, it seems like she should just shut up about Sonny! In any event, Jason didn't appear to take Anna's caution regarding his future very seriously.

Jason should support Sonny and keep helping him no matter what because he understands what he's doing and can make his own judgments.
