Toddler accuses Williamsport man of assault

Woodward Township, Pa. — A 3-year-old reportedly told investigators a man touched her while the two were alone in her house.

Bryce Alan Faivre, 19, said he knew why police wanted to speak with him when they contacted him at the end of June, according to a complaint. He denied touching the child, who came forward to family members in May, Trooper Josiah Reiner wrote in an affidavit.

The accuser identified Faivre as “one of the boys” living in a home when she told a family member, Reiner said. She said Faivre made her strip and remove her diaper before allegedly touching her, Reiner added. She pointed to her vagina when asked where Faivre put his hands, Reiner added.

Faivre denied the accusations during an interview with state troopers, according to the police report. He claimed he was never alone with the victim, but eventually admitted there were times when she was with him without other supervision.

The victim claimed Faivre said, “Take your clothes off and your diaper” before touching her butt, according to forensic interviewers. She said Faivre was an adult.

Faivre is being charged with corruption of minors, unlawful contact with minors, indecent assault without the consent, and indecent assault of a child. He is incarcerated at the Lycoming County Prison on $50,000 monetary bail. A preliminary hearing with Denise Dieter is scheduled for the beginning of September.
