Jordan Love Sends Challenge to Eagles

The Philadelphia Eagles and Green Bay Packers both are expected to be championship contenders in the NFC.

Both powers of the conference are set to face off in a Week 1 showdown in Sao Paolo Brazil. In the league's first game in South America, the Eagles and Packers both are turning their heads to try and get a leg up for that battle.

And one team in particular is ready to talk about it.

“I like where we’re at offensively, and I think we’re ready to go, get the season started,” Green Bay Packers quarterback Jordan Love said. “I feel like as a team, as a whole, we’re definitely ready. It’s been a great training camp. Definitely got better every day…I think we’re definitely ready for Week 1.“

Love and the Packers turned their season around last year after a below .500 start that ended with the team dropping a close playoff game to the San Francisco 49ers in the divisional round of the playoffs.

Winning won playoff game (or none in the case of the Eagles) won't be enough for either team at this point.

And Love appears to be ready to go for Brazil's marquee matchup.
