Regarding 2nd article about cruises… I get the writer doesn’t like them but forgot to mention most of the “issues” mentioned are the same with all inclusive resorts. Also planning an ala cart vacation has its downsides too. Constantly lugging heavy suitcases, un-pack, planning time to see different places, & the expense is definitely more. Safety while traveling anytime is always an issue if you venture without a group. Groups are always recommended for safety. With ala cart you also need to plan your own activities and play roulette when picking food/restaurants. Just like hotels, Cruises aren’t perfect & you can always pick a higher brand (Seaborn, etc) if you want more intimate destinations, better food, etc. But they are a Great way to see other countries so you can then go back & explore in depth if you like the destination. Also, one of the best benefits of cruises & all incl are the kids programs allowing parents time to relax alone. Big benefit for working mom & dad!

Sorry, I call too damn bad, airline attendants: Where else to stand when you’re waiting for the ridiculously few airplane bathrooms to become available?
