Jenna Bush Hager Has Hilarious Response For Hoda Kotb’s Assessment Of Her “Signature” Style: “Is That Because I Have Mustard Spilled Right Here?”

Hoda Kotb and Jenna Bush Hager kicked off the week on Today with a special episode about beauty in which they assessed each other’s “signature” style.

Bush Hager was quick to point out that Kotb always wears a “signature scent” that she constantly refreshes because “she runs a marathon here every morning.” But for Bush Hager, Kotb had a difficult time pinpointing what her signature style was.

“I think your signature is, number one I think your style is kind of your signature,” Kotb told her co-host. “It can be very easy breezy and it can also be kind of sophisticated, but also almost like you don’t care.”

Bush Hager joked in response, “Is that because I have mustard spilled right here?”

Luckily, the Today host didn’t have any mustard spilled on her shirt. If she did, it might have been from a recent episode where she rubbed an Auntie Anne’s pretzel on her arm after hearing the franchise released a brand new perfume called Knead.

As Kotb announced that the limited edition fragrance is available for purchase at $25, Bush Hager offered viewers a way to hack it.

“Or you can just go to your local food court, buy the pretzel, and…,” she said before grabbing an Auntie Anne’s pretzel and luxuriously rubbing it onto her arm.

“Don’t do it,” Kotb warned as she watched her co-host go for it. “Who is this girl?”

“Why not?” Bush Hager replied with a laugh. “The best part is, you knew it was coming.”

They may not have been able to figure out what Bush Hager’s “signature” style is, but they may have already found her signature scent. The Today host was a big fan of the Auntie Anne’s perfume when they tried it out.

“Is it weird that I don’t hate that? Of course I like a carbohydrate,” Bush Hager said after taking a whiff of the pretzel-scented fragrance. She added that it smells “alluring,” and asked Kotb if that’s “what Paris smelled like.”

The perfume reportedly has notes of “buttery dough, salt, and a hint of caramel sweetness,” according to Real Simple , and has already sold out.
