Soap Dirt reports that Luna Nozawa (Lisa Yamada) has only spoken highly of her mom since arriving in LA. She portrayed Poppy as a free spirit with an almost saintly quality. Yet, Luna asks Bill Spencer (Don Diamont) if her mother could be the murderer.

Another red flag appeared on Bold and the Beautiful when this mother-daughter duo found a backpack in their flat. Their chat hinted at tough times before this new crisis emerged.

But Luna questioning if her mother killed Tom Starr (Clint Howard) struck viewers as odd. Why would she even consider her mom capable of such an act?

Even before Poppy Nozawa appeared on-screen, she panicked during phone calls to her daughter. B&B fans sensed trouble when Poppy learned Luna Nozawa was in LA and urgently demanded her return home. Her pleas fell on deaf ears.

After that odd chat between Poppy and Luna Nozawa hinting at past troubles, their history must be quite a tale. If anyone can dig up old dirt, it's Justin Barber.

Justin was at the restaurant when Tom died, so he might already be on the case. Li Finnegan (Naomi Matsuda) likely plays a role in Poppy and Luna's mystery, too. She was also at Il Giardino that fateful night.

But Luna seems beyond saving now that she's admitted to the killings. Plus, she's got Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) locked up. Luna likely plans to let Steffy die in the building demolition.

So, Bold and Beautiful has many options for wrapping up this storyline. One guess feels like an old Western movie scene: Steffy Forrester emerges from the demolished building's dust cloud, while Luna Nozawa doesn't survive.

However, the story's end will likely feature Bill Spencer solving the mysteries around Poppy Nozawa and her daughter, Luna Nozawa. This mother-daughter backstory is a doozy that could shock even the seasoned publisher when it comes to light on the CBS soap.
