Blake Lively has been promoting her haircare line like crazy lately, using the press tour for her new movie, It Ends With Us , as a jumping board to show off her iconic blonde locks. However, she’s been receiving quite a bit of negative press for this move, with many people calling her out for being tone deaf , given It Ends With Us is a gut-wrenching story about breaking generational patterns of domestic violence. And worse yet, her haircare line, Blake Brown, isn’t getting the best reviews either. Keep reading for more information.

Blake Lively Launches New Haircare Line: Blake Brown

Blake Brown, sold exclusively at Target, has a wide range of products , from shampoo and conditioner to masks and mousse. The packaging is as memorable as Blake's hair, from the geometric shapes that make up the bottles to the gold, silver, and bronze toned hues they're colored in. Given Lively has some of the most iconic locks out there, it was no surprise when she announced she'd be launching her own haircare line.

"Here you have my hair care baby," she said in a note accompanying the launch. "I spent 7 years creating and personally testing every element of  this collection. The concept of Blake Brown is simple: love your hair well & it will love you well."

"I treat my hair well with clean, thoughtful, memorable smelling luxury hair care," she continued. "And now I share that with you."

TikTokers Are Not Impressed By Blake Brown

Unfortunately for Blake, many customers aren't impressed with her collection , and have taken to TikTok to "de-influence" others from trying it themselves. One user in particular, @jubileedawns posted a lengthy review of the product on her page. "I am here to de-influence you from getting the Blake Brown line from Blake Lively," she began her video.

"Let me just tell you, this is some of the worst products that I have ever used on my hair. I used it on my curly hair, and my hair has never felt so unhealthy in my entire life. Like, what did she put in this? My hair has never been this dry in my entire life, and it's not just the ends. It feels like my hair has never had moisture in my entire life."

She then pointed out that her normally very curly hair looks like it has "relaxers" in it after using Blake's products. "My hair feels like straw, it feels like I went into a chlorine pool and never washed it out. It just feels really awful . So I just wanted to come on here and say, if you were thinking about getting this, don't."

she's not a scientist, she just plastered her name on a generic product and tripled the cost of it like all the celebs do. no different than the premium vs store brand stuff at grocery stores. half the price yet cones from the same manufacturer. people paying for literal "name" brands for decades. at the end of the day, it's all generic.

K I see so many people defending her and saying people are jumping on the hate wagon but isn't that with most celebrities 🤔 Like Jennifer lopez . People have jumped on the hate wagon because of Ben Affleck. So 🤷 Don't be hypocrites 🙄
