‘[He] Don’t Want None of That’: Micah Parsons Warns Tyreek Hill Not to Race Noah Lyles

Depending on who you ask, some NFL players believe Miami Dolphins wide receiver Tyreek Hill can actually beat Olympic gold medalist Noah Lyles in a race.

Then there are more logical people like Dallas Cowboys edge-rusher Micah Parsons who matter-of-factly believe that Lyles, who won gold in the men’s 100 meters and bronze in the 200 meters at the 2024 Paris Olympics, would smoke Hill in any sort of running challenge.

During Monday’s episode of “The Edge with Micah Parsons” podcast, Parsons warned Hill that he shouldn’t want any part of racing an Olympian, especially one dubbed the fastest man in the world.

“Listen, Tyreek is fast, fast,” Parsons said. “But he ain’t want none of Noah. Listen, I only know Noah through social media, I don’t agree with the stuff he be saying, he do sound a little corny sometimes, but man that boy’s fast. Tyreek don’t want none of that. Tyreek: stay away from that bro. That man is a professional runner.”

Hill and Lyles have been going back and forth with each other over the last few weeks, teasing fans about setting up an actual race to see who is actually faster.

Lyles has stated his terms for racing hill involve having a legitimate race with a substantial amount of money on the line. Hill initially told Lyles to “sign the contract and lock in that 50-yard dash,” but Lyles responded saying if they did race it had to be in the 100m.

Hill used to run track in high school, and despite his sprinting days behind him, he seems confident he can still run with the fastest in the world. Parsons, on the other hand, isn’t so sure.

“Now, if you said Tyreek could train for a year or two, now we’re talking a different ball game,” Parsons added. “But I don’t think Tyreek is waking up out of his sleep and saying he’s going to go beat Noah Lyles in the 100 (meters). … I’ll bet on Noah every day of the week. I’ll put up the [$50,000] for Noah — if you’re talking about $50K and it’s you versus Noah Lyles, I’m gonna take Noah Lyles. I’ll put the [$50K] up.”
