Oh, now they’re demanding things? Interesting. During the summer Freeport Marina makes an astronomical amount of money, and they have the audacity to sell cheeseburgers that are the price of plane tickets. How long is it gonna take folks to realize Haig point has no problem watching the poor and middle class be forced onto the mainland where they can flip and develop their land/homes? Not everybody is having ferry issues over there, children, and middle class/poor people are…. They’re struggling because they don’t have access to the Haig ferry. Daufuskie‘s problem is the rich people don’t know how to share, and the other folks are struggling to survive. Beaufort county has NEVER cared about the poor or middle class. They have ALWAYS put forth an effort to squeeze them out and make more room for the wealthy. This is no different. Either the middle-class taxpayers will cover the cost to transport them or they’ll have to move. Where will they go? I’ll tell you….. they’ll go away
