It is beyond outrageous that State Money, Taxpayer provided funds be allowed for those ‘Pet Projects’ identified by State Legislator’s. These are funds that could, clearly be best used for Education, Health Initiatives, etc., not given to a Rodeo. That is certainly not ‘for the greater good.’ To begin with Rodeos have ‘past their prime’ if, for no other reason than that of the Animals are always subject to abuse.
