The brand new Central Park skatepark in Doral, Florida opened this past Saturday, August 24th with quite the epic celebration. Team Pain hopped on Instagram before the Doral locals took their first runs to share some photos of their latest gem, and let me just say—this park looks super fun. Take a look:

With so many new skateparks opening across the country, I understand news like this isn't necessarily for everyone (especially if you don't live in or around Doral, Florida), but at the same time, I think we can all appreciate unique design traits when we see them. Look at that snake run!

The palm trees really tie the whole Florida vibes together nicely, too, but this place just looks fun to me. Like pretty much every modern skatepark, there's a little something here for everyone. That's typically the goal, and honestly, why wouldn't it be? But I really just can't keep my eyes off that snake run section.

Team Pain did an incredible job as always on this park, adding some fun little nooks and crannies amongst your classic rails, hubbas, quarter pipes and everything else. Looks like it could get a little hectic when crowded, but what skatepark isn't? More time to cool off under the palms and take a lap on the snake run!

I will say this—all these new skateparks opening up all across the county is really a sign of the times. Skateboarding is growing at a rapid pace and there's never been this much participation. It's rad! Now we just need to get something better here in my hometown of San Marcos, California and I'll be a happy man. Until then...I'll just keep admiring all the other gems popping up from coast to coast. Love to see it.
