Coffee and Cars Growing In Winter Garden

After hearing about the Coffee and Cars events taking place in Winter Garden, we decided to take a trip over and check out the rides, the snacks and of course enjoy the outstanding weather this past weekend we even met some great folks along the way.

If you enjoy a nice cup of coffee and a wild assortment of automobiles you probably would have loved the Cars and Coffee event held this past Saturday from 8 to 10:30 a.m. located at 3118 Daniels Road, Winter Garden located across from Winter Garden Village off of 429. Even if you did not like coffee you probably would have still had a good time out here.

We did have a chance to speak with some of the people organizing the event in the morning and they indicated they will be coming back to this location as it was very popular. Even as late as 9:30am cars were cycling in and out, but as a rule show up around 30 - 45 minutes after the start to get the best viewing.

While it was not hot outside early that morning, people were staying hydrated and it was a great opportunity to grab a cup of joe and mix it up with some of the car owners. There is also a Starbucks nearby that we saw many of the people frequenting throughout the morning for various items and the restroom we are sure.

One of the car owners said he enjoys the atmosphere and how laid back everyone is as opposed to sitting in traffic when other drivers can be aggresive and unforgiving. Another car owner said he brings his car to show off his hard work and dedication even though he knows it is not for everyone, his friends agreed and said car shows really helped them get motivated to do some of their own work.

In terms of a car show and turn out this event was a success, we hope that it continues to grow and inspire more people to bring out their cars, their stories and promotes the good vibes in the car culture.
