Angel Reese's Five-Word Message Before Meeting Young Fan Angel Reese

Chicago Sky rookie sensation Angel Reese has been all over the news recently following her string of strong performances in her maiden WNBA stint.

She also announced her new podcast, "Unapologetically Angel," which will debut on Sept. 5. A few days before, she inked endorsement deals with sports brand Reebok and chocolate brand Reese's.

In addition, the Sky announced that they will hold a Barbie-themed night for their much-awaited game against Caitlin Clark and the Indiana Fever on Friday. Reese was christened "Chi Barbie" or "Double-Double Barbie" by Sky fans.

Speaking of which, her young fan, who's also named Angel Reese, had the surprise of her life after she got an invite to meet her idol in person on Wednesday. Her mom posted a TikTok video of her reaction upon learning the news.

Reese, the Sky star, posted on X to express her excitement about the meeting.

"See you tomorrow, sweet girl!" Reese posted.

Young Angel first caught the attention of fans after her mom posted her story on X last month. They watched the game between the Sky and the Atlanta Dream, hoping to meet Reese but to no avail.

"She wants nothing more than to meet @Reese10Angel but I came up short that time," wrote Angel's mom. "The name lives on!"

Now, the 22-year-old Reese is making sure that her namesake will finally meet her.

Reese has gained her fair share of critics because of her strong personality, but there's no denying that she does a lot for her fans and knows how to give back to the people who helped her reach this far in her career.
