FALL fanatics, get excited because Dairy Queen has launched its new lineup of desserts for the season.
The chain is also debuting a deal on its iconic Blizzard treats, but fans are confused over the technicalities.
Fall is officially around the corner, and beloved fast food chain Dairy Queen is celebrating with its autumn menu.
This year’s menu features the return of popular classics such as the Oreo Fudge Brownie Blizzard, which comes with cookies, brownies, and cocoa fudge.
The Reese’s Pieces Cookie Dough Blizzard is also making a comeback, filled with candy pieces, chocolate chip cookie dough, and a peanut butter topping.
Dairy Queen fans can also try something new to welcome the fall season.
The fast food chain is launching its Caramel Java Chip Blizzard, which blends coffee, choco espresso crunch pieces, caramel, and soft serve.
Three more Blizzard flavors will debut on the fall menu, including the French Silk Pie, Salted Caramel Truffle, and Royal NY Cheesecake.
Availability of the fall menu and its launch date will vary by location.
To celebrate its new lineup of treats, Dairy Queen is offering fans a dessert deal.
Fast foodies can purchase one Blizzard and get one free at participating locations for two times the fall fun.
“That’s two cupfuls of DQ’s delicious flavor combos — and two red spoons to dig into every bite. A deal this good is guaranteed to turn an ordinary day into a completely joyous one,” shared the company.
The limited-time offer lasts for two weeks next month from September 9 through 22.
There are a few caveats to the deal, or “fine print” as Dairy Queen called it.
In addition to only being available for two weeks, the offer can only be redeemed once in the Dairy Queen app.
Existing Dairy Queen rewards members can redeem the BOGO deal anytime between September 9 and 22.
The chain noted that customers who aren’t rewards members can sign up on the app anytime between those dates.

Dairy Queen's fall menu features a lineup of sweet treats:
Royal NY Cheesecake Blizzard Treat : real cheesecake pieces, graham, strawberry topping center
They will then have two weeks from their signup date to redeem the fall offer in the app.
DEAL DISASTER
Fans in the Dairy Queen subreddit predicted the chain would run into issues with customers regarding the fall deal.
“Oh boy can’t wait for the 10 people a day pissed off its app only,” wrote one Redditor.
A Dairy Queen employee chimed in saying they would be “lucky” if only 10 people complained daily.
“We had probably two dozen Saturday get mad that a fake Facebook coupon wasn’t usable,” they said.
A second employee figured many customers would confuse the meaning of the deal, noting they had already received three calls asking, “When are you giving away the free Blizzard?”
“I already know that the smooth brains that are my customers are already going to misconstrue all of this as ‘FREE BLIZZARD,’ not ‘BOGO with the app only,'” they wrote.
Another user commented that many people missed out thanks to the app-only limitation.
“They go over to McDonald’s or something, like if you aren’t using an app already, you’re just missing out. People are dumb,” they wrote.
