Deion Sanders Details Sons' Distinct Personalities and Chooses Family MVP

Shedeur , Shilo , and Deion Jr ., or as they call him, Bucky. All play vital roles in the success of the Sanders name, and Coach Prime highlighted in an interview with Robert Griffin III and his wife on the 'Outta Pocket' Podcast that all three of his boys have very different personality traits, yet all remain very close.

Bucky is 30 years old, the oldest of the three, while Shilo is a defensive back for Colorado and is 24, and obviously, Shedeur is the quarterback for the Buffalos and is 22.

Colorado opens their season Thursday against FCS powerhouse North Dakota State with extremely high expectations, especially on the shoulders of Shedeur and Shilo, who are two of the highest-sought-after NIL athletes in college football,

However, Whenever he gets a chance, Prime seems to always enjoy talking about his boys, and knows his importance in their lives is vital.

Griffin opened up the conversation talking about his sons, and Deion instantly lit up with joy.

"My sons are crazy. Man, they are crazy. I wish you would've thrown Bucky in there because it's three different personalities." Sanders said.

Sanders added, "“Junior is the calm [one]. The older one to look out for the younger brothers. Then Shilo is Shilo. He's the one that God, you're going to have a daughter that he's going to keep you. God's going to keep you on your knees praying like Lord, please… always that one. You know who that one [is] in the house. And then Shedeur. Shedeur probably spent the most time with me. So he's more like me than any of them because he spent more time with me than any of them. So that's kind of how their personalities break down.”

Shedeur is estimated to be the to be the top pick in the 2025 NFL Draft, while Shilo is expected to go a bit later on. However, they all have similarities too. They are not afraid of the spotlight, and they don't shy away from the moment. Having a dad who has gone through it all, and an older brother that you can rely on plays a vital role in that, and Coach Prime highlighted who the MVP of the three are.

“The MVP is [Deion Sanders Jr.], because he keeps it together. He keeps them together. He’s always selfless and gives them unconditional love to try to make sure they shine at all times. The unity that they have and seeing that as a father is unbelievable.”

Coach Prime has always ranked his boys, and the list is fluid. However, while Shedeur and Shilo, shine, sometimes people forget about Bucky, which is why it was extremely important for Prime to highlight his importance in the family.
