OBITUARY: Etta Ratliff Covington

Etta “Tise” Ratliff Covington, 73, of Rockingham, passed on Sunday, Aug. 25, 2024.

A Homegoing Celebration will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 1, 2024, at Grace Temple Fellowship Church, Inc., 3008 Hwy 9 West, Wallace, South Carolina, where the Rev. Anthony Waymyers is the pastor.

Public viewing will be Saturday, Aug. 31, 2024, 11 a.m. until 3 p.m. at Nelson Funeral Home, 1021 E. Washington St., Rockingham.

Family will receive friends and visitors at the Covington home, Tavaris and Kendrae, 108 Jenkins Covington Road, Rockingham; and the sister’s home, the Rev. Darlene Ingram, 215 Sandhill Road, Rockingham.

Interment following the service at Poplar Springs Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery, 478 Sandhill Road, Rockingham.
