Caitlin Clark, Indiana Fever's Postgame Exchange With Simone Biles Is Going Viral

Olympic gold medalist Simone Biles was in attendance for the Indiana Fever versus Connecticut Sun matchup on Wednesday, Aug. 28. She was in the house to witness a massive 84-80 victory for the Fever, behind masterful performances from Caitlin Clark and Kelsey Mitchell.

Biles was shown on the big screen during the game, and once the news of her presence at a WNBA game surfaced on social media, thousands of fans sent their reactions to the "goat" in Indiana.

While Clark and the Fever didn't post any reactions about Biles and another Olympic star, sprinter Gabby Thomas, in attendance, the two U.S. legends met with the Fever in the locker room after the game.

Biles was seen hugging Clark, Christie Sides and the rest of the squad, telling them "congratulations" for defeating the Sun.

The post instantly went viral, already having over 90k views less than 20 minutes into its release.

Biles is fresh off winning three gold medals and one silver in the Summer Olympics. She's one of the most decorated athletes from the United States in Olympic history, having 11 medals in total, so her recognition of women's basketball was great for fans to see.

She was in the house watching one of the most promising young basketball players in the WNBA, Caitlin Clark. These two athletes have turned into two of the biggest names in the women's sports community, given their generational talent in their respective sports.

Before meeting Biles, Caitlin Clark was able to help the Fever snap an 11-game losing streak to the Connecticut Sun. She finished the game with 19 points, five assists and five rebounds.

The Fever now stand at 1-3 against the Sun this season, but they've been soaring through the standings.

Indiana currently lies as the No. 7 team in the WNBA rankings with a 15-16 record, winning four of their last five games.
