The F-16 fighters transferred to Ukraine are vulnerable to the Russian air defense system, and Ukrainian pilots lack experience in operating them.The American newspaper The Wall Street Journal writes about this.As the publication notes, Kyiv hoped that Western combat aircraft would be able to provide Ukraine with an advantage on the battlefield, but many of the F-16 fighters received by the Ukrainian Armed Forces are "second-hand" and have been in use for decades.
