    Stephen Curry's Future With Warriors Determined

    Golden State Warriors guard Stephen Curry has agreed to a one-year, $62.6 million extension, which will keep signed through the 2026-27 season, his agent, Jeff Austin of Octagon, confirmed to ESPN 's Adrian Wojnarowski on Thursday (August 29).

    "Golden State Warriors star Stephen Curry has agreed on a one-year, $62.6 million extension that’ll keep him under contract through the 2026-2027 season, his agent Jeff Austin of Octagon tells ESPN," Wojnarowski wrote on his X account.

    Curry, 36, a four-time NBA champion and two-time NBA MVP, is weeks removed from winning his first Olympic gold medal, recording a game-best 24 points, shooting 8-13 on 3-point attempts, which included making four three pointers in the final two minutes of the Paris Olympics final against France.

    Curry averaged 26.4 points, 4.5 rebounds and 5.1 assists while shooting 45% from the field and 40.8% on 3-pointers during the 2023-24 season, winning the 2023-24 Kia NBA Clutch Player of the Year award. The four-time NBA champion led the NBA in several clutch categories including points (189), 3-pointers (32) and field goals made (59).

    Curry enters his 16th season with the Warriors, having been selected No. 7 overall in the 2009 NBA Draft, having made the All-Star Game for the 10th time last season.
