Houston Astros Make Huge Simone Biles Announcement

Simone Biles is one of the biggest names in the sports world right now thanks to all her accomplishments at the 2024 Summer Olympics.

While the Games have been over for a couple weeks now, Biles has remained in the spotlight, most recently attending the Caitlin Clark and the Indiana Fever's showdown against the Connecticut Sun on Wednesday night.

The fun won't stop there for Biles, though. The Houston Astros announced on Thursday that Biles will be in attendance for their game on Friday against the Kansas City Royals to throw out the ceremonial first pitch, with several other Olympic athletes set to be in attendance as well.

This won't be the first time Biles has thrown out the first pitch for the Astros, as she grew up in Spring, Texas, which is right down the road from Houston.

Biles has wowed fans when she previously did the first pitch for the Astros, and given all the excitement surrounding her every move right now, it made sense to bring her back again.

While plenty of Astros fans were going to tune in and watch this game anyways, you can bet that Biles throwing out the first pitch will generate even more fanfare for this game.
