The Batmobile has inspired several automakers over the years to create their own takes on Bruce Wayne's iconic car. In the latest take on the legendary vehicle, Italian luxury brand Pininfarina created their own electric version of the Batmobile complete with some high-end in-car tech features.

The Pininfarina Battista B95 Gotham was showcased at this year's Monterey Car Week in California and is built with Bruce Wayne in mind. The all-electric hypercar was modeled after the original and most famous Batmobile used by Adam West in the 1966 Batman TV series. It boasts a powerful 1,900 horsepower engine and features the Batmobile's signature glossy black paint and two screens, albeit not bulletproof ones like Batman's. It even has a plaque engraved with one of Bruce Wayne's most famous quotes from the comic books: "All men have limits... I ignore mine."

"B95 Gotham is inspired by the spirit of Gotham City at its most sparkling," the company described on its website, noting that the open-air car "combin[es] exceptional engineering with a freedom-inspired aesthetic."

It was an exciting creation to take on for Automobili Pininfarina's chief design officer Dave Amantea.

"The first time I was told about the collaboration I practically jumped out of my chair," he told The Telegraph . "I was so thrilled because in the early stages of the Battista’s development the character of Bruce Wayne and Batman, specifically Christian Bale in The Dark Knight , served as the inspiration for our mood boards, sketches and design concepts. I have to admit that I was already a huge Batman fan, so crafting hypercars inspired by Bruce Wayne has been a thrilling project for everyone in our team."

If you're interested in driving off with one, make sure you have quite a bit of cash set aside—about $5.3 million. Sometimes it costs to feel like a hero.
