Disneyland's Festival of Holidays Celebration Returns this Winter!

Disney California Adventure is welcoming back its popular Festival of Holidays, an annual celebration that brings together the diverse cultures and traditions of Southern California. This fun event, which runs during the holiday season, offers guests a chance to experience a wide range of activities, taste delicious seasonal foods enjoy lively entertainment and checking out merchandise.

One of the highlights of the festival is the Festive Food Marketplaces, where visitors can savor a variety of new and returning menu items.

We recommend that guests purchase a Sip and Savor Pass, available in both four-coupon and eight-coupon versions. This pass allows guests to sample select food and nonalcoholic beverages from participating locations throughout the park, making it easier to try a little bit of everything.

In addition to the new dishes, the Disney Parks Blog posted that the Festival of Holidays will have both new and returning musical favorites that will take to the stage. “Mickey’s Happy Holidays” cavalcade, where iconic Disney characters march to the beat of festive music, spreading holiday cheer throughout the park.

Guests looking for unique holiday gifts or souvenirs will find plenty to choose from in the Disney California Adventure Festival of Holidays merchandise collection. The new merchandise will be found at Merchandise Marketplace and Elias & Co.

Disney Parks Blog also released info on how the Paradise Gardens at Disney California Adventure will also play host to the Disney ¡Viva Navidad! festivities. Here, guests can check out the daily crafts, live music, and menu items that reflect the rich cultural heritage of the region. The area is always beautifully decorated, adding a touch of Disney magic to the traditional holiday décor.

As part of the Disney ¡Viva Navidad! celebration, the popular street party featuring The Three Caballeros will return on select days. This celebration includes performances by Mexican folklórico dancers, mariachis, Brazilian samba dancers, and percussionists.

On days when the street party is not scheduled, guests may still encounter characters like Mirabel from Disney’s "Encanto" or Miguel from Pixar’s "Coco," who will be part of festive street performances celebrating the holidays and the importance of family, or “familia.”
