Don't blame Mayor Tom. Y'all listened to the ridiculous rhetoric from one deranged, vindictive school board member and didn't pass the school referendum that would've prevented all of this. Thing is, it would've only been a few more dollars on your property tax bill. And those who rent wouldn't have seen it at all, but many an increase in rent. A meal at McDonald's in exchange for school bus service. How y'all feeling now??

Nice to see coverage of these events. The Governor's Parkway Bridge project in Hessville completely ignored the school kids train hazard by locating the proposed bridge too far away from the three public schools it was supposed to service. Its a two mile walk to the other side of the tracks. We tried to get clarity on the status but the mayor diverted the attention to INDOT. This is a tactic often used to not discuss important issues they are in control of but are unwilling to address.
