Aldi Is Selling a $15 Modern Decorative Ottoman Similar to a Wayfair Style 7x the Price

Ottomans might not be first on your list of household items you need to have, but it is a nice item to look at in your home. They’re good footstools, they can double as a little side table depending on where you put it and they can be a nice decorative piece . If you’ve been looking for the right ottoman to bring into your home, Aldi is dropping a new one this coming week. Not only is it a good deal, it looks like a Wayfair style that’s seven times the price.

From September 4-10, Aldi is selling the SOHL Furniture Decorative Ottoman for $14.99 in their Aldi Finds aisle. It has a bit of a mid-century modern style, with a round body and four angled wooden legs. It’s a style that’s been popular for a hot minute and with its versatility, it’s easy to see why.

SOHL Furniture Decorative Ottoman , $14.99 at Aldi

Aldi’s upcoming ottoman comes in three colors or fabric patterns: gray boucle (which is a looped or curled woven fabric), a beige weave fabric (pictured above) and square patterns (white with rows of tiny navy blue or black squares). No assembly is required, meaning it comes with the legs already attached. The ottoman measures 11 inches in diameter and 15.5 inches tall and can hold up to 120 lbs. Aldi’s site also notes that it’s for indoor use only and has anti-slip material on the bottom of each leg.

Milnor Upholstered Ottoman - Joss & Main , $105 (regularly $225) at Wayfair

This Aldi ottoman looks much like Joss & Main’s Milnor Upholstered Ottoman which is currently on sale for $105 (it’s regularly $225) at Wayfair. It looks shorter than Aldi’s, but actually it’s just more squat with shorter legs so it looks shorter overall. But in actuality, it is an inch taller at 16 inches tall; it has a diameter of 16 inches too. It can hold less though, only up to 100 lbs. This has a more textured fabric too; it’s made of woven wool and comes in cream and taupe. But the color is similar to Aldi’s and the legs are also a similar wood. This one also comes fully assembled, which is pretty convenient.

So, if you like the look of a round ottoman and want a neutral piece that’s useful and cute, Aldi’s SOHL Furniture Decorative Ottoman might just be for you.
