Sunshine Communities welcomes Girl Named Tom for free Maumee concert

Sunshine Communities will host a free public concert featuring Girl Named Tom on Sept. 7 in uptown Maumee, at Conant and Dudley streets.

This event, celebrating the organization’s 75th anniversary, is a way to thank the community for supporting people with developmental disabilities. Sunshine’s main campus is in Maumee.

The show starts at 5:30 p.m. with Chloe & the Steel Strings. Girl Named Tom will take the stage at 7:30 p.m.

Girl Named Tom, an American folk sibling trio from Pettisville, Ohio, made history as the first musical group to win The Voice in 2021.
