Breaking News: Dallas Police Officer and Suspect Killed in Oak Cliff

After an incident on Thursday night left one police officer dead and two others injured, the Dallas police department has asked the public for prayers.

A distressed officer was reported to police at 10:10pm on E. ledbetter Dr., according to WFAA . When reinforcements came, they found a police officer shot in his car.

According to reports, the other cops returned gunfire with the suspect, and they were also shot and injured.

The suspect then fled in his vehicle and lead additional officers on a high speed chase that ultimately ended in the suspect’s death.

Both officers that were injured were transported to Baylor Scott & White Hospital. One of the officers is reportedly in critical condition.

The fallen officer has not been named at this time. Police escorted his body to the Dallas medical examiners officers around 4am.
