The school bus transportation has to do better. the fact that this was a nonverbal autistic child is horrifying The law needs to change with every school bus there should be a bus monitor checking every seat to make sure every child has got off the bus with there belongings and there is no fighting and bullying. These type of stories needs to end because this could of been a devestated situation for the family , Thank God that the baby is okay. The bus driver needs to be fired

I’m really confused. If my child doesn’t show up for school, I get a text and a phone call and I would be at that school in 10 minutes demanding that they find my child. If my child doesn’t show up at home at the end of the day, I will be on the phone to the school, transportation, Tracking down the bus and the driver to find out where my child is and also driving the route. Why did seven hours elapse wherein no one knew this child was missing or where she was? That is an absolute failure of that school system and the transportation company.
