Chicago Sky Get Away With Dirty Play on Caitlin Clark

Caitlin Clark and the Indiana Fever are facing off against Angel Reese and the Chicago Sky on Friday night, and it's safe to say the level of physicality in this game is quite high.

This shouldn't come as a surprise, as teams across the league have been working hard to increase the level of physicality on Clark in an effort to slow her down.

Unsurprisingly, that's precisely what the Sky tried to do early in this game, and the refs turned a blind eye. Clark was dribbling the ball around the three-point line when she got blatantly shoved by Lindsay Allen right in front of a referee. However, the refs didn't blow their whistle, and play ended up continuing.

This is a pretty obvious foul, but the referees didn't seem to believe it warranted a foul call, which means Clark is going to have to live with playing through this sort of physicality throughout the game.

Clark's skill can help her overcome a lot of things, but if she doesn't draw foul calls for plays like this, it could end up being quite a challenge.

You can bet she isn't going to let it deter her, though, as Clark will do everything in her power to lead the Fever to a victory over the Sky in this huge game.
