Taylor Swift fans are giving a special shoutout to LeAnn Rimes for her impact on the pop star when she was just a young girl.

One Swiftie recently resurfaced the clip on TikTok , sharing a video from an interview of Swift early on in her career, where she talked about attending one of Rimes' concerts when she was just 8.

In the interview, Swift talked about the formative experience of going to Rimes' show, where she recalled "holding up this huge banner" and shouting, "I love you, LeAnn."

Adding that she had sent Rimes "all these letters and this package of drawings and pictures of me to her hotel room the night before," Swift said Rimes recognized her in the audience at the concert.

"When she was going around shaking hands with people in the audience, she looked down and I was like, 'LeAnn did you get my letters?' and she goes, 'I sure did, Taylor,'" the "Karma" songstress recalled.

"And that was the moment where literally it all just clicked for me," Swift continued. "That if I could make one little kid feel that way or one person feel the way she made me feel then it would all be worth it."

Swift said after that experience, once she was thrust into her own music career, that she "always tried" to give fans the same feeling —and she has surely succeeded.

Fans of the singer, now 34 and one of the biggest artists in the world, have always praised her for how she interacts with her Swifties. After seeing the resurfaced interview clip on TikTok, many expressed gratitude for Rimes' kindness, as it has clearly impacted the trajectory of Swift's relationship with her fans .
