Some major TIFF 2024 titles, from family movies to downright bone-chilling films, are coming to Netflix in Fall 2024.

As the leaves begin to change colours for the autumn season, Netflix presents a slate of great films to check this fall 2024. There’s something for every viewer: thrillers, true crime, musicals, animation, and even a new Christmas title—because it’s never too early or late for a holiday film. Here are some picks to check out on Netflix this month and in the coming months.

Anna Kendrick’s directorial debut examines uncomfortable gender dynamics with the stranger-than-fiction story of Rodney Alcala’s appearance on The Dating Game in the middle of his 1970s murder spree. It originally premiered at TIFF 2023, but it was not released theatrically because of the SAG-AFTRA strike . It will be out in theatres on October 11, 2024, and premiering on Netflix on October 18.

    Carry-On

Starring Taron Egerton as a young TSA agent and Jason Bateman as a mysterious traveller, Carry-On is set to take off in 2024. When Egerton’s character is blackmailed into letting a dangerous package slip through security on Christmas Eve, he must use all his wits to outsmart Bateman and save the day. With an all-star cast and plenty of edge-of-your-seat moments, Carry-On is shaping up to be the perfect addition to your holiday movie lineup.

    Spellbound

With an all-star cast including Nicole Kidman, Javier Bardem, and Tituss Burgess, Spellbound promises to be a heartfelt, visually stunning journey that will captivate audiences of all ages. Mark your calendars for November 22, 2024, and prepare to be spellbound by this original fairy tale with a modern twist.
