The Philadelphia Eagles know the pressure they are under heading into their Week 1 contest against the Green Bay Packers in Brazil on Friday.

While the focus for the roster should be to do everything they can to win in Week 1, the reality is their contest in Sao Paolo is bringing up some fears for stars on the roster.

"I can't wait, but man, I do not want to go to Brazil," Darius Slay said. "They told us not to leave the hotels, they told us we can't do too much because the crime rate is crazy. I told my family to not come down here."

Slay echoed comments made A.J. Brown stating that the Eagles were told they would be unable to leave the hotel room, and were told to be careful walking the streets of the city.

Regardless of the safety concerns, the Eagles have focused on one goal overall - the same one pushed by their head coach.

“We’re going there to play and win a football game,” Sirianni told reporters. “That’s our goal. That’s our only goal as we go down there. And so, it’s just getting everybody in the right mindset of what you need to be when you go down there. You can control the things that you can control. Like, we’re going to Brazil to play. That’s what it is. We’re excited about that.”

Crime rates may concern the organization going into new territory, but it seems the Eagles are looking to do what they can to improve their record to start the season.
