While it's still too new to receive a facelift, the American automaker has made minor trim revisions for MY2025, providing customers with more bang for their buck (depending on the trim and options they choose). </p><p>So what has changed? Not much, to be honest. The <b>GT</b> and <b>GT Plus</b> models are now available with wheel-mounted paddle shifters (part of the <b>Track Pack</b> option), and the Hornet is now eligible for the optional one-day session at Dodge's High-Performance Driving School at the Radford Racing School. </p><h2>Two Powerful Four-Cylinder Engines To Choose From </h2><p>Aside from that, the Hornet is the same crossover we've come to know and love. For 2025, there are four trims to choose from, namely GT, GT Plus, R/T, and R/T Plus. GT trims make do with the Hurricane4 turbocharged 2.0-liter engine that develops a respectable <b>268 horsepower</b> and <b>295 lb-ft of torque</b>. This is the same motor used in <a href="https://carbuzz.com/news/ram-rampage-revealed-with-270-hp-hurricane-4-engine-and-standard-4wd/">the Ram Rampage pickup truck</a> (which may come to America someday). </p><p>While the R/T may receive a smaller engine, it packs a mightier punch. That's because the 1.3-liter has been paired with an electric motor, providing this PHEV with combined outputs of <b>288 hp</b> and <b>383 lb-ft</b> of torque. As a result, it's one of the most engaging vehicles to drive in its class. The GT uses a nine-speed automatic transmission to channel power to all four wheels, while the R/T uses a six-speeder to do the same. </p><h2>There's A Reason It Drives So Well </h2><p>Standard features include Koni frequency selective damping shocks, Brembo four-piston front fixed calipers, and a brake-by-wire system (R/T only) that is said to provide an enhanced pedal feel. Options include available dual-stage-valve suspension that allows the driver to select their preferred level of suspension damping. </p><p>The Hornet is essentially a reskinned version of the <a href="https://carbuzz.com/cars/alfa-romeo/tonale/">Alfa Romeo Tonale</a>, but Dodge designers worked hard to give the Dodge its own look. <a href="https://www.topspeed.com/2024-dodge-hornet-overview/">Standard specification for the Hornet</a> is good, with a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, 10.25-inch Uconnect infotainment system, and dual-zone climate control all part of the package. Dodge also adds Level 1 driver assist systems at no extra cost. These features are also included on the R/T Plus trim. Customers can opt for a sporty red leather finish. </p><h2>Available Interior Colors For The 2025 Hornet </h2><ul><li><b>Black cloth/leatherette seats</b></li><li><b>Black leather seats</b></li><li><b>Red leather seats</b></li><li><b>Black Alcantara seats with red accents</b></li></ul><p>Pricing for the 2025 Hornet lineup has yet to be announced, but we don't expect it to stray too far from the current pricing, especially as very few changes have been made.
