Adele made a major announcement at her last Germany show .

The singer performed her last show in Munich on Saturday, August 31. During her performance, she told fans that she had 10 shows left to do in Las Vegas but after that, they will not see her for a while. She revealed that she would be taking a break from music to "rest" and wants to "live" the life she worked so hard to build.

She said: " I will not see you for an incredibly long time a nd I will hold you dear in my heart for that whole length of my break. I have really enjoyed performing for three years, which is the longest I've ever done and probably the longest I will ever do."

Adele continued: "I just need a rest. I have spent the last seven years building a new life for myself, and I want to live it now... I will remember these shows for eternity because they have been spectacular."

The singer also revealed that she does not plan to make or release new music during her hiatus but plans to do "other creative things, just for a little while." Adele is getting ready to hit the stage for the last time at her Weekends with Adele residency in Las Vegas at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace from October 25 to November 23.

She also said: "I truly have no idea when I will ever do anything like this ever again its going to be a very f------ long time."

Adele's residency is where she confirmed that she was engaged to sports agent, Rich Paul. She made the announcement at one of her shows in Munich , Germany when a fan asked if she would marry them. The singer and sports agent went public with their relationship in 2021 after many suspected the two were dating.

She once revealed that she was open to expanding her family one day. She shares an 11-year-old son, Angelo, with ex-husband Simon Konecki. Rich also has three kids: Reonna, Richie and Zane.

The Someone Like You singer said at one of her shows: "Once I'm done with all of my obligations and all of my shows, I want to have a baby. And I want to have a girl because I've already got a boy."
