FL Getting New Shopping Center With KFC, Another Broken Egg, Dutch Bros. Coffee, & An Unknown Grocer

    2024-09-03

I often write about new shopping centers coming to Florida such as the new Northchase Plaza that will include a new Publix. In writing these articles, I've come to believe that readers embrace shopping centers with as many amenities as possible. In other words, if one can do their shopping, eating, and errand running in one place, that's seen as a wonderful convenience. Shoppers in Jacksonville may be happy to know that a new shopping center is planned with multiple businesses and a grocer.

About The Shops At Racetrack: According to a listing on Loop.net, the shopping center is less than three miles from I-95 and 30,509 vehicles travel along the intersection of Rack Track Road and Bartram Park Boulevard North per day.

Land located at 4560 Race Track Road will become two multi-tenant retail buildings - one of which has already been permitted and leasing has reportedly begun.

Tenants that are reportedly onboard for various areas of the property are Another Broken Egg, KFC, Dutch Bros. Coffee, McDonald's, and a grocer, which has not yet been named.

While KFC and McDonald's are likely familiar to most Floridians, Dutch Bros. Coffee and Another Broken Egg may not be.

I've previously written about Dutch Bros. Coffee. It is relatively new to Florida, with the first stores opening in central Florida. As you might expect, coffee is on the menu, but the chain also serves smoothies, mochas, and shakes.

Another Broken Egg is a daytime-only cafe that serves brunch. So far, there are only 8 locations in Florida - mostly in the central part of the state.
