Troop 270 popcorn fundrasier

Cordele Boy Scout Troop 270 and Cub Scout Pack 270 spent Saturday morning, August 31 selling popcorn during the annual fundraiser that sees 70% of the proceeds remain with the local units and the South Georgia Council. The Troop and Pack would like to thank the Cordele Walmart for allowing us to set up just outside their entrances for the sale. We’d also like to thank the people who stopped by to visit our tables, especially those who bought popcorn and/or made a donation. Saturday was a successful day for the local Scouts. We plan to be back at Walmart the next two Saturdays from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm. Thanks also to the guys who showed up to sell the popcorn. Scouts Jake Atkins, Landon Atkins, and Jacob Frost were supported by adult Scouters David Wade, Britt Brinson, and Brady Atkins.
